Employee Assistance Program
Lesley Cross, owner of Bridges Counseling of Ohio, knows the value employees play in a business. She also knows that when an employee is struggling, it hurts the business owner on multiple levels. Employees are our greatest resource and we want to ensure their care both in professional and personal life. This belief is the reason Bridges Counseling created our Employee Assistance Program. We care about your employees almost as much as you do!
As a small business owner, larger employee assistant programs run through insurance companies are not always available or financially feasible. That’s why Bridges Counseling of Ohio is proud to offer an Employee Assistance Program designed for your company.
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Employers partner with our practice to offer their staff & employees counseling sessions in a confidential and discounted rate. Employers provide Bridges Counseling a list of their employees who the services are offered to. If/when an employee seeks services with Bridges Counseling, we track those services and send the employer a confidential bill without mention of the employees name. Employers are able to decide the number of sessions they want to offer their employees at a paid or discounted rate. After an employee “uses up” the designated sessions provided by their employer, they can continue with counseling at the negotiated rate but instead of billing the employer, they would be responsible for the session fee themselves.
PAYMENT DETAILS:
Employers who are a part of the EAP are able to offer this service to their employees at a discounted rate. We respect this is an investment in your employees and honor the privilege of helping you help them live to their fullest.
We encourage employees are offered a minimum of 3 sessions covered by the employer. After this, the employee is able to continue with their sessions at the discounted rate (but by paying themselves.) If employers want to offer additional sessions, this can be arranged as well.
Sessions via the EAP are offered at an agreed upon discounted rate that is customized to fit your business and budget.
HOW DO WE START?
If you would like to start offering sessions to your employees, contact us. We will provide you the materials and wording necessary to share with your employees to help them understand how to schedule services if/when they desire this.
Services may never be used by your employees, or they may be. The goal of the program is not to ensure that employees seek counseling, but to offer an added benefit to your team as we know that being an outstanding employer and caring about your people is a critical part of your business plan!
